She has written about the ethics of borrowing from your own life in your writing for The Masters Review, and her essay, "Flesh Record," won first place in the 2022 Blue Mesa Review Summer Contest for Nonfiction. She also has work in the Columbia Journal, Another Chicago Magazine, and Mulberry Literary.
